The Food Scene in Utica is booming. From old favorites from wings, tomato pies, and Utica greens to new trendy foodie stops. These are my favorites- though as with all things what I like may not be what you like. I will try to give a quick description of the location- the food and more importantly …the drinks
Nail Creek Pub and Brewery– Brewery District- 10+ taps- wine and drinks- and the Poutine is worth the stop.
Celtic Harp– Brewery District- Irish Pub fare and more. Beef Stew is one of my favorites and the atomic hot wings will make you cry!!! Fun location with outside seating in the summer – Place to be for Saranac Thursdays!
72 Tavern and Grill– Located at the Adirondack BanK Center- Interesting Menu with some trendy items- Big Salads- Big Burgers- Donuts- BACON and more. Great drink choices- needs more local brewery taps but usually carries one or two local brews.
