We all Need Inspiration

No matter how old I get I try to find inspiration from others. I definitely have had dark moments and places I find myself in but I try hard to find inspiration to pull me away from those places and be a better person everyday. I look at myself today and I can see exactly the people and things that have inspired me. The biggest change in my life the last two years has been me getting to the gym and working out. I stopped thinking I was in pretty good shape and decided to say I could be better everyday. It really is that simple but changing the habits that make you change your thoughts is where the hard work is.

I can trace all of it back to a program I began during Covid that was put on Facebook by John Bartholomeo at Mohawk Valley Wellness in Marcy and his Trainers at the time Sarah Lareaux and Peyton LaReaux who are now at FI Training in New Hartford. It wasn’t hard – it really wasn’t physical .. but it made me look at my habits and my goals and what had stopped me reaching them. My first realization was that most of the times I failed to go to a workout was not because I was tired or lazy but because the drive and return trip was over 1 hour round trip and I just didn’t have time like that in my day. So once the gyms opened again I decided to start a local gym in Herkimer Elite Fitness. For me that was a good decision and started me down the road . It wasn’t easy … I let work interrupt my journey bc I made the excuse that I didn’t have time- too much work and too little time. It took time to get back in the door again and this time I didn’t let excuses stop me from working out. I needed to prioritize my physical body before I could succeed in my business. The machine needs to be taken care of .. just like with Data- Garbage in is garbage out.

The point of this is that we need to find inspiration in others. We don’t know it all… it all began with just realizing that if I remove the excuses .. there was no reason not to succeed. So if you are looking to begin your journey in the Utica Area- here are three options for you to try . Stop Making excuses – today is always the best day to be inspired to make changes. So thanks to John ,Peyton, and Sarah for being the inspiration …
