I love Fall in Central NY. The colors are vibrant – there is a little chill in the air and there is a smell that just makes one crave some apple pie. Every year we try a new place to go visit and have some fun.
Over the years our favorites have been:
Critz Farm in Cazenovia is tons of fun and plus is there is some hard cider to drink if you have the kids…plus there are goats and everyone loves goats- take a look-https://www.critzfarms.com/
Beak and Skiff Apple Orchard and so much more is worth the try in Lafayette NY- There are apples- Wagon Rides for the kids- FOOOOOOOD- HARD CIDER- BEER- for the parents who have to chase the children.- Rated #1 Orchard in America!!!!!-Take a look https://beakandskiff.com/
This year we tried Pumpkin Junction in Sauquoit- a little closer to home for us but still a great experience for family- Pumpkins- Rides and more!!!- Want to see more http://pumpkinjunction.com/
The old standard in the area is Fly Creek Cider Mill and Orchard https://www.flycreekcidermill.com/ Worth the stop anytime you are in the area. You can make it a trip with a stop at the Pail Shop Vineyards just down the road with Cooperstown NY and the Baseball Hall of Fame minutes away.
